this is the first time i'm working with my new flat screen monitor,
pictures look just so different now!
can you please let me know how this painting compares
with the previous uploads...cheers

I always watch your blog on TFT.
As I see, the pictures in your older posts have a slightly brighter colours.

it seems these flatscreens
got different angles to look at,when tilted the image has more contrast,cheers!

I came here to say that the colors are more muted, but that's already been noted. I prefer the new palette, at least for this painting which shows a distant view and would naturally be more hazy.

Previous pictures are sometimes dominated by a shade of ocher/yellow that I personally don't like too much. The recent Surtees picture was alright, it contrasted well with the red. The Sept 3rd Rindt painting is more disagreeable. But I'm not paying, so my opinion is not worth much. Fault may also lay with the color temperature of my monitor.

the ocher/yellow comment is interesting,my paintings are more on the purple magenta side...
i'm beginning to think that everybody sees the paintings slightly different,due to different monitors and settings.
so what can i do!
